UNDERGRADUATE 3RD year STUDIO PROJECT – 2021

Based in Karaj, Iran this project was designed to satisfy the needs of citizens who can’t afford the neighborhood buildings but still want to live in that area. Using simple, affordable, and space-friendly methods and materials in the design process fulfilled those people’s wishes. Minimalism is the foundation of this design’s concept. The main reason is the unstable growth of different shapes of buildings in that area (Mehrshahr, Karaj). All of the plans are rectangular-shaped. Two envelopes cross the building to reduce the sun’s rays.
