Provisional Assemblages: Matters of Planetary Crisis,
Arch 5980, Spring 2025
This animation showcases a series of drawings I created to represent the spatial and environmental context of the Mae La refugee camp. Using layered linework, I depicted terrain contours, vegetation, and movement patterns within and around the central pathway of the camp. The drawing captures the relationship between landscape and human presence, aiming to visualize the lived environment of the camp in a way that supports future design thinking and engagement with humanitarian issues. This project is part of a larger collaborative effort, incomplete Atlas of Provisional Assemblages. Part 1: Case Studies, that will be exhibited at the upcoming Venice Biennale, contributing to a global conversation on architecture and displacement.
